Sugar Pop!

I purchased four charm packs of Sugar Pop by Liz Scot for Moda many many months ago, I thought it'd be a perfect little girl's quilt, without being too standard 'little girlie', I intended to make a fairly simple single bed quilt for Claudia's first big bed. She's still a way off that, but I wish I had the bed to put this on right now:

It's all Sugar Pop, including the backing and binding. I love the retro prints and colours! I need to put it away and not look at it so that I don't get sick of it (always a danger!).

I tried something slightly different with this one, yep it's still my usual straight machine quilting but I did the quilting lines about half an inch from the seam, rather than my usual quarter inch, I really like it, will definitely do that again. And I made the stitch length slightly longer, made the quilting a whole lot faster and less tedious, I'll definitely be doing that again!!
