Play (at last!)

When I first started this blog, yikes, almost a year ago, I thought it'd be about more than sewing (i.e, eating and playing) but the sewing's taken over. Not to say that I haven't been playing, I have, and I've definitely done a lot of eating.

In the spirit of play, a photos of my girl unleashing her creativity this morning:

She pokes her tongue out when she's concentrating. As much as I always sometimes resist the request for 'painting painting!' I do love it when we get going, it turns into a total sensory experience involving most body parts, clothing, windows, furniture etc etc. Thank god for washable paint.
