A finished quilt!!!

Finally, a finished quilt! I can hardly believe it. Luckily I had the deadline of the recipient's first birthday party on Sunday. I'm really happy with it but it's looking a little scrumpled in the photos. I really need to get my act together in that department (I'm allergic to ironing). And it's my first quilt with a label! I used the printable fabric, worked well I think. The fabric is all It's a Hoot by Moma for Moda. Perfect for a little girl I think, without being too traditional.

I'm just finishing the hand stitching on another quilt so hopefully will have pics to post this week.

Slack!

I am struggling to keep up with this blog!! the good news is that I've started back at work 3 days a week, which means more computer time which might mean more blog updating time. I have no shame. The downside is potentially less sewing time. hmmm.

I have however managed to finally finish Claudia's Heather Ross quilt, pretty darn happy with it. I'll post some pics soon. And I've made a good start on another one, fabric is It's a Hoot by Momo, super cute. I had to improv the corners, ran out of border fabric. oops. Think I like it though. It's now all basted and ready to quilt. Problem is I seem to be accumulating a lot of quilt tops and not many finished quilts. I should get on with a few of those ufo's....
